Primary Group of Builders (PGB) marks its 75th anniversary in 2026, celebrating decades of leadership, operational excellence, and meaningful contributions across multiple industries in the Philippines.
From its beginnings as a Cebu-based construction company, Primary Group has grown into a multi-sector organization that helps shape industries, stimulate regional economic growth, and create opportunities for businesses, communities, and employees. The anniversary year opened with internal engagement activities focused on the group’s purpose, values, and management systems. A photo contest involving participants from Cebu and neighboring provinces also captured moments reflecting Primary Group’s guiding values: Pagsalig, Hiniusang Pagkugi ug Pagtutok, and Pagpalambo.

Development Programs. In June, the Construction Step Up Industry Partnership and Development Program will launch to strengthen professional skills and elevate industry standards. Youth mentorship programs under the Human Capital Cluster will also support the next generation of professionals.
Wellness and Community Activities. Events such as the Play It Forward Badminton Tournament in May and the Primary Group of Builders Run in July will promote wellness, teamwork, and community engagement.
Grand Anniversary Celebration. The main milestone will be the Grand Anniversary Celebration in August, honoring the partnerships, achievements, and communities that have shaped Primary Group’s journey.
Strategic Business Initiatives. Primary Group will also advance key projects across sectors, including an integrated operations program led by Primary Structures that combines construction, materials, and equipment services while expanding operations from the Visayas and Mindanao to Luzon. Social Impact Through the Primary Group Foundation
Primary Group’s social initiatives are led by the Primary Structures Educational Foundation Inc. – School of Knowledge for Industrial Labor, Leadership, and Service (PSEFI-SKILLS), its corporate social responsibility arm addressing poverty, skills gaps, and academe-industry mismatch.
Through education, market-driven training, employment programs, and community development initiatives, PSEFI-SKILLS has impacted more than 35,000 lives, supporting underserved communities including out-of-school youth, unemployed individuals, and persons with disabilities.
In addition, Primary Skills Inc. has deployed more than 12,000 overseas Filipino workers, providing global employment opportunities.
Several anniversary activities will serve as fundraisers for the foundation, including the auction of selected photo contest entries and proceeds from the badminton tournament and fun run.
