Volunteers, riders, and Pau-Pau bring joy to patients and hospital frontliners

foodpanda brought its “We Gotchu” promise to life this holiday season through Pasko Na, We Gotchu: Christmas PANDAriwang, an outreach activity dedicated to uplifting patients and frontliners in Cebu.
As part of its ongoing commitment to community care and public–private collaboration, foodpanda volunteers visited Cebu City Medical Center, a public hospital heavily affected by recent calamities. They went room to room sharing fruit baskets with patients, while partner riders delivered hundreds of ready-to-eat meals for both patients and staff.
To brighten the day of younger patients, the team also handed out plushie toys small surprises that turned routine hospital moments into heartwarming experiences.

The outreach extended its gratitude to those who tirelessly care for the community. Doctors, nurses, security personnel, and other hospital staff received warm meals as a simple but heartfelt thank-you for their dedication during an exceptionally busy season.
Adding to the joyful atmosphere, foodpanda’s mascot Pau-Pau joined the volunteers on their hospital rounds. The cheerful visit brought visible smiles to patients, families, and frontliners, filling the medical center with renewed holiday spirit.

Christmas PANDAriwang continues foodpanda’s tradition of spreading compassion during the holidays. The Cebu initiative is one of several community visits planned nationwide, as more foodpanda teams set out to support other areas throughout the season.
